Happy New Year!

It's hard to believe that a year has gone by since the last time I posted anything.  I ended up coaching football over the summer; my son's team.  LOL!  Those of you who know me well know that I love football.  Anyway, coaching occupied my entire summer.  Our team went undefeated and won the championship.  However, aside from coaching linebackers and the offensive line, I've been very introspective over the year.  I've been very prayerful about my upcoming projects and my playing voice.  As a result, I plan to record a follow up to my gospel CD, "Him", and another project of some of my favorite R&B oldies.  I have the perfect group of musicians for the projects!   I'll keep you posted as to the release dates.

Be on the look out for Kirk Whalum's new CD in February!  It's a fabulous work!

Welcome!

I have been working on getting a new website for a while.  I've been so busy that I've been unable to work with my web designer.  I'm thankful that it's finally up and running.  I pray that you enjoy all that we post here on the site.  Soon I'll be posting some additional photos and videos. I'll be posting photos from the early days to recent family photos.  

I plan to record new music this year too!  Be on the look out.
